21. Madam Bhikaji Kama (1861-1936) :
A source of inspiration for Indian youth in U.K. participated in the Socialist Congress at Struttegart, organized Free India Society and began journal 'Bande Mataram' to spread her revolutionary thought.
22. Muhammad Barkatullah :
Became Prime Minister in the provisional Government of India at Kabul,went to Europe and worked for the freedom of India where he edited and published a journal "Naya Islam".
23. Madanlal Dhingra (1887-1909) :
Joined Indian Revolutionary Activities in Britain, participated in the activities of the Indian Home Rule Society, Abhinav Bharat and India House. Assassinated Sir William Curzon Wyllie (Advisor to Secretary of State, India).
24. Manindra Nath Banerjee :
Participated in the Kakori conspiracy killed one of his uncles J.N. Banerjee who was investigating the Kakori case, died in jail after observing a hunger strike for 66 days in protest against inhuman treatment meted to him.
25. N.M. Joshi (1875-1955) :
Labour leader who formed All India Trade Union Federation. Responsible for several enactments on labour welfare. Member of Central Pay Commission 1947.
26. P.N. Bapat :
A revolutionary, he went to Paris to seek training of bomb making, for the same purpose he translated the Russian book 'Bomb Manual' it helped to train Indian revolutionaries.
27. Ramprasad Bismil (1907-1927) :
Member of Hindustan Republican Association involved in Kakori train dacoity. His composition "Sarfaroshi ki Tamanna" was source of inspiration for freedom fighters.
28. Rasbehari Bose (1886-1945) :
Threw bomb on Lord Hardinge's cavalcade in Delhi, escaped to Japan and formed Indian Independence League, mobilized Indian soldiers taken as prisoners of war by Japan for armed rebellion against British rule.
29. Raja Mahendra Pratap (1886-1964) :
Established a provisional Government of free India in Kabul in 1915. He was in favour of technical and vocational education and established Prem Vidyalaya at Vrindaban. Abolished Zamindari system in his princely state.
30. Rajendra Nath Lahiri (1898-1927) :
Leading member of Hindustan Republican Association, played an active part in Kakori train robbery for which he was sentenced to death.
31. Sohan Singh Bhakhana (1870-1968) :
Founded 'Hind Association of Pacific Coast' with the help of Indians in U.S.A. & Canada, associated with the Komagatamaru ship incident in 1917, published journal 'Gadar' which demanded freedom of India.
32. Shyamji Krishna Verma :
Founded Indian Home Rule society in London with the object of security. Also founded 'India House' Started a paper 'Indian sociologist'. His growing revolutionary activity drew attention of British Government.
33. Sohan Lal Pathak (1883-1916) :
A revolutionary leader, he joined Ghadar Party. Where he was given the task of instigating Indian soldiers in British army stationed at Burma, Singapore and Malaya for this he was arrested and executed.
34. Sivram Rajguru :
Revolutionary from Maharashtra. He was arrested and tried in Lahore conspiracy case, was hanged along with Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev.
35. Sachindra Nath Sanyal (1895-1945) :
Played a major role in organizing the revolt of 7th Rajput regiment for which, was arrested and transported. After his release, formed Hindustan Republican Association, was sentenced to life in Kakori conspiracy case.
36. Surya Sen (1894-1934) :
Chittagong revolutionary, formed Indian Republican Army (IRA) and carried a raid on two government armouries. IRA seized power of Chittagong and declared establish-ment of national Government. Surya Sen was captured and executed.
37. Taraknath Das :
Formed Indian Independence League in California in 1907 and published paper "Free Hindustan" to spread revolutionary idea among Indian residing in USA.
38. Udham Singh (1899-1940) :
The Punjab revolutionary, assassinated the then General of Punjab Sir Michel O' Dyre the man behind Jallianwalah Massacre at London to avenge the innocent killings..
39. Virendranath Chattopadhyaya :
Joined 'Berlin committee' and brought the journal 'Talwar' from Paris. Later, he founded Gandharva Mahavidyalaya and contributed to the improvement of music.
40. Vinayak Damodar Savarkar (1883-1966) :
One of the earliest revolutionaries, founded 'Mitra Mela' which was later renamed as 'Abhinav Bharat Society'. Described revolt of 1857 as the first war of independence. Later,became President of Hindu Mahasabha.
41. V.V. Subramaniam Iyer :
A revolutionary, Vice- President of Abhinav Bharat society translated 'Emerson's Self Confidence' and wrote biographies of Nepoleon and Garibaldi.
